Returns Policy

If the products you’ve ordered are not suitable for your project or you’ve changed your mind, you’re welcome to return them for a refund within 60 days of placing your order, provided they are unused and in a resaleable condition.

Please note: For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the cost of return postage.

Condition of Returned Goods

To qualify for a refund:

• Items must be returned unused, with labels attached where applicable, and in a clean, odour-free condition.

• Customers may handle items only to the extent necessary to inspect them — the same as you would in a shop.

If goods have been handled beyond this and can no longer be resold as new (for example, they carry strong odours such as smoke, pets, perfume, or damp), we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund or refuse it to reflect any loss in value.

Due to the absorbent nature of yarn, returns that are not in a resaleable condition may be subject to a reduction in refund or deemed non-refundable.

Your Right to Cancel

Under UK consumer law, for most distance sales you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day after you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods, during which you may cancel your order.

Lardedar extends this right and accepts returns for eligible items up to 60 days from the date of order, subject to the conditions above.

How to Return an Item

To arrange a return:

1. Please contact us within 60 days of placing your order so we can issue a returns reference number and provide the returns address.

2. Return the goods to us at your own cost, using a tracked service or by obtaining proof of postage (recommended).

3. Refunds will be processed once returned items have been received and inspected, and will be issued to the original payment method within 48 hours of inspection. Please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

If return postage is insufficient and Royal Mail charges us, this amount may be deducted from your refund.

Non-Returnable Items

• Patterns:
  Due to their copyright-protected nature, patterns — including leaflets and booklets — are non-returnable and non-refundable once dispatched. This is because patterns can be photocopied or photographed and cannot be returned in an unused condition.

Additional Information

• Please check your delivery details carefully before completing your order.

• If an order is returned to us by Royal Mail due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address, you may choose between:

  • A refund minus the delivery charge, or

  • Re-delivery at a reduced rate.
